The process

For me, the joy of making pottery is being wholly absorbed in the pursuit of combining practised craft with artistic expression.

The repeated trial and error, waiting to see what comes out of the kiln, adapting the different stages of the process and firing again, always aiming to get closer to realising what you wanted to create.

And when I finally have a piece I’m happy with, passing it on to someone else who feels good with it in their home.
